I don't always get to play in Jen Del Muro's SFYTT but I do really love her sketches. On Sunday I mentioned I was able to make a few cards and this is another one that I was able to do. Keeping with the whole Valentine theme but with cupcakes! My sister in Kansas knows that we have a very tiny selection of scrapbooking supplies here so when my mom sends me a box almost weekly my sister makes sure to send me something cute she's found at Michaels. She loves me and I love her so much she doesn't know how appreciative I am! Thank you Angelica if you are reading this. Anyway I thought using these Martha Stewart cupcake stickers would work perfect for the panels. I added a little button with some yummy ribbon. I must get more of that ribbon! Now onto my little rant about my card. The very last thing I did was I wanted to stamp the sentiment directly on the Close to Cocoa cardstock well I did but it was ALL kinds of slanted. So of course I could not let that go I stamped it on Whisper White and cut it out. I am so annoyed when I'm putting the finishing touches on a card and I screw up at the very end. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this? lol

great card Felicia. NO you are not the only one! nothing more agravating than to ruin a great card at the very end!! I love the sketch you chose to use!!
Love those cupcakes. No, you aren't the only one who messes up at the very end. I do it all the time, the fix is what we call creativity. No one would have known if you had not told!
another great cupcake card!! Great job on the sketch!! How super great of your mom and sister!! that ROCKS!
Love your card!! I'm a HUGE cupcake fan and I love those MS stickers. They go great with that retired SU paper, which I still have like 2 packs of.
I try to stamp my sentiment before I adhere everything else to the card because I stamp crooked lots of times. Guess I should learn to use my stamp-a-majig...
Nicely done. I'm forever stamping the sentiments slanted, even clear stamps where I can see exactly how to place them!
Looks good enough to eat! LOL I love the layout, you did a great job.
Super cute card.
I too am in the group that stamps crooked. When I get more cards posted you will see most sentiments are punched out. :-)
Love the cupcakes Felicia - that icing looks like the real thing! Yes nothing more annoying than to make a mistake when you are almost finished. Then you have to go to plan B!
Cute Cupcake card! Love the colors.
Felicia, this is a super cute card, great color combo!
Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog.
I love this sketch and how you used the Cupcakes. So Cute!
I'll have to try this sketch.
TFS
so cute!
Another YUMM-O card!! Fun colors and I love your cupcakes... I need to get more stamps... He! TFS! Smiles... :)
REally nice color combination. Keep the good work.
Great card ... love the cupcakes. I get aggravated with myself when I do this too. Thank goodness most of the time I can cover it up!
This is so sweet, it is making me hungry :). Dont you just hate that, on some one's blog they titled it "every mistake is the beginning of a new creation" :) :) she hasnt seen my mistakes :). love your blog.
Hey Felicia! Love your Valentine card. That sketch is awesome. I love to create using a sketch.

Trust me.....you're not the only one. I had misplaced my imaging sheet from my stamp-a-ma-jig the other day and was in a full out panic thinking I was going to have to stamp something strictly by sight. Ugh!
Really cute card! The cuppie-cakes are adorable.
I like this card. The stamp-a-ma-jig is one of the best tools. I use mine continuously. Hmmmm must get out my Hero Arts patty cake set.
I love this card. Cute colors and design.
cute!
Felicia...this looks fantastic! If you ever need anything...let me know, and I can send a few things your way. I have too much stuff, and I love to share!
I love this sweet card!
I totally do that! I do something stupid like decide to ass stickles and then smear them somehow?!?! What is that about?!?! The card turned out great though!
Wow, what a lucky girl you are to have family that sends you scrapping care packages continually!
I swear I mess up on every card and so I just hope it is early enough in the process I can adapt the card design to hide it. :) But it happens at the end too and you were able to fix it and make it looks like that was the card design from the start!
Felicia - this is a great card - I just love those colors together. Very nice job on the sketch.
Felicia, Love this card, thanks for sharing your beautiful work!
